By accessing and using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. Business Model and Scope of Services
1.1 The Tennis Jobs is operated by a UK-based sole trader. We provide a free online platform where tennis-related job opportunities can be shared publicly, based on details submitted to us.
Venues, clubs, schools, academies, and organisations ("Venues") to submit coaching opportunities and vacancies; and
sports coaches and aspiring coaches ("Coaches") to submit profiles and availability for potential opportunities.
​1.2 All vacancies and coach profiles are submitted via online forms and are reviewed and moderated by us before publication. Such moderation is limited to content accuracy and appropriateness only and does not constitute vetting, endorsement, certification, or approval of suitability.
1.3 We are not an employment agency, employment business, or employer for the purposes of the Employment Agencies Act 1973. We do not employ Coaches, nor do we place Coaches into employment.
1.4 Any engagement, employment, or contractual relationship entered into as a result of use of the Website is strictly between the Venue and the Coach.

2. Age Restrictions and Under-18 Users
2.1 Coaches may register and create profiles from the age of 16, reflecting the earliest age at which a Level 1 coaching qualification may be obtained.
2.2 Users under the age of 18 confirm that:
they have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian; and
they understand that additional safeguarding checks may apply.
2.3 Venues engaging Coaches under the age of 18 acknowledge that they have enhanced safeguarding and duty of care obligations, including appropriate supervision and compliance with child employment laws where applicable.

3. No Guarantee of Roles or Outcomes
3.1 We make no representations or guarantees that:
Coaches will secure work, paid or unpaid;
Venues will successfully recruit a Coach;
any opportunity will result in an interview, engagement, or offer.
3.2 Publication of a vacancy or profile does not constitute an offer of employment, nor does it create any obligation on any party.

4. Recruitment Responsibility and Due Diligence
4.1 Venues are solely responsible for carrying out all legally required and appropriate recruitment checks prior to engaging any Coach, including but not limited to:
identity and age verification;
right to work in the UK
verification of qualifications and experience;
references;
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks or equivalent;
safeguarding and first aid certifications.
4.2 Coaches are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is true, accurate, and kept up to date.
4.3 Our review and publication of content does not remove or reduce the obligations of Venues or Coaches to conduct their own due diligence.

5. Safeguarding and LTA Compliance
5.1 Where tennis coaching or tennis-related activity is involved, users must comply with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Safeguarding and Protection in Tennis Policy, as amended from time to time.
5.2 All users acknowledge that safeguarding children and vulnerable adults is a shared responsibility and agree to:
adhere to recognised safeguarding best practice;
promptly report safeguarding concerns to the appropriate authorities and governing bodies;
cooperate with safeguarding investigations where required.
5.3 We reserve the right to suspend, remove, or restrict access to the Website where safeguarding concerns arise, without notice.
5.4 We can only allow venues that are LTA Registered to post jobs and find coaches on our site due to safeguarding policies and safer recruitment processes

6. Content Submission and Moderation
6.1 By submitting content via the Website, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and publish such content for the purposes of operating the platform.
6.2 We reserve the right to edit, refuse, or remove submissions that are inaccurate, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful, or inappropriate.
6.3 We do not guarantee the timing or duration of publication of any vacancy or profile.

7. Data Protection and Privacy
7.1 We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and the Data Protection Act 2018.
7.2 Personal data relating to under-18 users will be handled with enhanced safeguards.

8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.
8.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
any recruitment decision made by a Venue;
the conduct, actions, or omissions of Coaches or Venues;
loss of income, opportunity, reputation, or business.

9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, or costs arising from:
your breach of these Terms;
your failure to comply with safeguarding or employment obligations;
any dispute between Coaches and Venues.

10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Website at any time where:
these Terms are breached;
safeguarding concerns arise; or
required to do so by law or a governing body.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
11.2 Mandatory consumer protections under EU law continue to apply where relevant.
11.3 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights.
